Same Food. Different Day.
Welcome back to Poll Of The Day — today’s question is for anyone who’s ever found a food groove and stayed there.

TODAY’S POLL
Do you ever go through phases where you eat the same meal repeatedly? |
LAST POLL RESULTS
38.7% of you voted I change immediately into comfortable clothes in Friday’s poll: How often do you change out of your “outside clothes” when you get home?
“If outside means work.”
“If I have to go out and wear something specific, I change into my comfy stuff when I get home. But I mostly work from home, so I wear workout clothes or something I can move easily in and get a workout in.”
“Even in retirement, I have to change from my ‘going out’ clothes.”
“Change immediately! If I have to go somewhere and wear something other than my shorts or sweats, depending on the time of year, then you can bet I’m changing into those the minute I get home! It’s all about comfort for me now that I’m older. And being retired, I can do what I want, when I want.”
“Comfy clothes always!”
“Who in their right mind wants to wear a bra around the house?”
“Now that I’ve retired, I always dress for comfort.”
“BOXERS AND T-SHIRTS AT HOME.”
“Not anymore since I’ve retired, but when I was working, I had to walk the dog when I got home, so I needed to change. Now it’s the opposite — I put on my comfies when I get up and have to change to leave the house.”
“Sometimes, when I have to go to work and am also on a pet-sitting gig, I change out of my work clothes to walk the dog(s) and relax afterward.”
“When I get home, the first thing I do is feed/walk my dog. I usually do this in what I have on, and once I know I’m in the house for good, I change.”
“I usually keep my work clothes on for a while unless I have laundry to do. Then I put my pajamas on right away.”
“I just can’t — the city is a dirty place. I also like to wash my hands and face as soon as I get home.”
“For me, I change immediately when I get home. I live on a farm, love being outdoors, and play hard (and dirty), so I’ve gotten into the habit of changing clothes right away. That way, I never accidentally track farm dirt, mud, horse hair — you get the idea — onto clean furniture."
“Depends on yard work, company, or playing with the kids.”
“I’m able to wear pretty casual, comfortable clothes at my office job and usually only change if I do something that dirties them or if an upcoming activity calls for different attire.”
“I’m retired. When I go out, I dress according to the event. Depending on the time of day when I get home, I either change into comfortable clothes or get ready for bed.”
“I’m retired and living in Florida, so my daily attire is shorts and a T-shirt for 95% of the year. When I worked as a mechanic, it was shower and change as soon as I walked in the door. Later, when I worked in an office, I usually changed before sitting down to dinner to avoid getting stains on my work clothes.”
“As I’m retired, I rarely need to wear ‘outside clothes.’ I’m usually in my comfy clothes all day — but not pajamas until bedtime.”
“I mostly wait until bedtime to change out of my daily clothes.”
“I stay in the same clothes till bedtime.”
“It depends on where I went and what I’m wearing. I prefer to change into cargo shorts and either a polo shirt or a colored T-shirt when I’m at home. Dress clothes are too confining.”
“I mostly stay in the same clothes, but if I’m really dressed up, I get out of them immediately.”
“Shoes are most certainly off!”
