“In my younger years, I’d accept right away. Now it depends on the event. I try to take advantage when possible, but if I don’t feel like it, I don’t feel guilty or obligated anymore.”

“It depends on what is happening, where, etc. I was more apt to accept ALL last-minute invites when I was younger, because I loved doing things on the spur of the moment. Now that’s a little more difficult with my health issues — and even on whether I’ll be at my house or my condo. But I do always appreciate the invite!”

“Definitely depends on the event and how well I know the person. If it’s someone who only invited me as a last-ditch option, I’ll politely decline. However, if someone’s plans fell through and they need someone last minute, I’ll usually accept if I’m available.”
