“My birthday is actually tomorrow. As a teacher, school just started back up, so I don’t really have time to do anything special. All of my time is devoted to starting the new school year.”

“I usually keep it low-key. Maybe get a cake and ice cream for the family. Not big on celebrations.”

“Most of my family just does not care. Some of my family and one very good friend usually do.”

“I prefer to be at home rather than out in public. I make the day all about good food and music with my husband. Sometimes we go to town to pick up fancy Chinese takeout. And I always buy myself a present!”
