LAST POLL RESULTS

29.8% of you voted All the time in yesterday’s poll: How often do you get tan lines during the warmer months?

“However, not in a bathing suit — just from walking, even in the early hours.”

“I have a lot of outdoor hobbies, and I really enjoy being outside, so my tan lines start early.”

“Working tan.”

“Only outside doing work.”

“The first thing most people think of is tan lines from a bathing suit. My tan lines come from gardening. You can see lines from my sandals, shorts, T-shirt, and gloves.”

“I’m outdoors a lot and wear fingerless gloves, so I do get small tan lines on my hands. I mostly cover up everything else or wear sunscreen.”

“I wear shorts and a T-shirt most of the spring and summer, and often into late fall. I have weird tan lines.”

“I get tan lines in a couple of places: my feet — it looks like I have white socks on in the summer when I take my shoes off — my arms for sure, and a little around my face from sunglasses.”

“I live where there is sunshine, beaches, and hot weather 7+ months of the year.”

“In California, I have tan lines for 3 seasons because it’s warm enough to go sleeveless and wear sandals!”

“Love the sun. ☀️”

“I’m a redneck!”

“I still have my 2025 watchband whiteness going on!”

“I live in the desert, so I’m fully protected with sunscreen/clothing.”

“I burn easily, so I don’t spend long hours in the sun! When walking, I have to cover up and apply SPF 100.”

“I’m Scottish and don’t tan. I either burn or freckle.”

“I have skin prone to skin cancer, so I am very careful when I am outside in the sun.”

“I’m the rock lobster! I turn pink or I burn — no tan whatsoever.”

“Remote work has reduced these occasions drastically.”

“It depends on why and how long I’m outside. Technically, I’m not supposed to be in the sun due to the meds I take, but I can’t live forever inside! I still have to walk my pup, go to concerts that are sometimes at outdoor venues, and do a number of other things. I try to remember sunscreen if I’m going to be outside for longer than an hour. And as lily white as I am, I do get tan/burn lines sometimes, lol!”
